Default Whistling noise

My 06 Cab. has a whistling sound from the passenger side mirror. It's driving me nuts! The noise starts at 50 mph and it makes top down driving very distracting. Any Ideas on how I might fix this? Has anyone out there had problems similar to this?
Thanks in advance.

Most 06 cabs do, dealers know how to fix it.

No--actually they reseal the mirror. Do a search,--you're not the first to discover this.

No, actually my dealer replaced my mirror. I mentioned the reseal and they said they just replace the mirror.

OK, I have an 05 cab with the infamous whistling sound above 45 mph with the top down on the passenger side of the car. I have Techart side mirrors. How do I "seal" the problem without changing the mirror?

You can disassemble it and put some GE silicon inside along the seam before you close it up.

I have searched, but I can not find a DIY for dissassembling the mirror in order to apply the silicone sealant. Links I have found from old threads are no longer working. Please help with how to dissassemble. Thanks.

My 05 C2 whistles at the driver's mirror as well, but only randomly. Haven't pursued it yet.

You really don't have to disassemble the mirror to resolve this (although I think that's the better way). My dealership took the quick and easy way--smearing GE silicon along the seams of the mirrors' leading edges.
