Default Traded Cayenne, C2 Cab for C4S Targa.

I should stay away from Porsche dealerships but wanted to upgrade NAV disc. while in Scottsdale. There it was everything I didn't have in my C2 Cab. The 4WD is amazing, I thought it would make the car heaver but I didn't notice that. You can't really ring out a car with 14 miles on it but It seem to have a lot more torque. The Tiptronic seems to me more right on making it easier to be in the gear you want to be. To watch the glass roof work is amazing and it's a lot quieter than the cab, plus you don't have to stop to open and close.

I have a Jeep Wrangler and I really never needed the Cayenne since moving to New Mexico and debated a long time about getting rid of it. So I'll take the deprecation hit on both 1 year old cars and I'll use the 4WD a lot more in the winter.

It's got full leather, self dimming mirror, heated seats Nav, 19 inch Classic wheels and they will add Satellite radio and Bluetooth.

Now all I have to do is fly home to NM and get the Cab.

Congrats on your decision Chip! So the key getting stuck in the Cayenne ignition was the silver lining of a dark cloud. You'll love the T4S...had it been available when I purchased, I think that's what I would have gone with.
BTW, what's bluet? Sounds like the end of a good date.

Did you still get an upgraded Nav disc? If so, not all was lost.

Congrats on the new ride! Enjoy!!!

Actually, We started talking about the car while they put the new disk in the Cayenne. Then after saying "never mind" I couldn't go back to the old disk because the new one updated the software and the old one would never work again. These are $500 for a new disk. Mr Sales Manager said "well you get a new one with the Targa" I don't know if he was joking or testing. But in the end I ended up paying $250 for a disk that I will only use for a few days.

I'm not complaining because I got more than a fair price for both cars.

You really need an updated disk for PHX. There are so many new freeways that makes the old disk is very obsolete.

I figured as much since you said you had to fly home to get the Cab. I was just giving you a little jab in the ribs!

Congradulations on your purchase! We just got our Targa a week ago and it is a real pleasure to drive. I enjoy driving through areas with a lot of vertical features, like windy hilly roads or downtown, and catching glimpses of the view overhead. My wife just sits back and looks upward!

What color is it?
