I need track suspension advice

I would echo many of RonCT's comments. Key for me on my 997S was GT3 control arms. I went with 7mm shims and got -2.8 on the fronts and -2.5 on the rear. Car is now much more neutral. Not mentioned anywhere so far is that control arms give you a bit wider stance than the standard arms on the front. Definitely noticeable from a stability point of view. I would also add 997GT3 cooling ducts. They are cheap and a perfect fit and will funnel a lot more air into the brakes. Not required for auto-X obviously.

Silly question from a newb. I understand the 997 GT3 has no lift due to the aerodynamics on that car. In addition to the discussion above (and my plan is to add GT3 control arms, but was going to do GT3 sway bars also, but would have to rethink that now) would a GT3 style aero package help with that hunkered down feel?

My experience is that the car is much more stable in high speed corners, especially in fast S combinations and elevations with the GT3 aero.
I don't know what mods you have and what kind of driving you do, but I wouldn't install GT3 control arms and swaybars without a better suspension as Bilstein or KW. The Bilstein Damptronics made my car stiffer but more composed.

Are you all running street tires or track R-comps?
If your times are close then you can probably beat them if you showed up with Kumho V710 tires.
Not RA1, not R888, not Nitto NT-01, not Hoosier R6, etc. Kumho V710. The V710 will blow away any track R-comp tire on the autox course. Only problem is you need another set of wheels. You can drive to the autox with the V710 in the dry, but these are not daily driver tires. Hoosier A6 (not R6) are just a hair better than the V710, but they aren't street friendly and the general consensus I've found is use V710 if you will be driving to the event and Hoosier A6 if you change tires at the event.
Cheers,
