Default Beneath the 997 (Panel pics)

While working on the 997S the other day I decided to snap a few pictures of the BOTTOM of the 997s for those of you who haven't been beneath one.

(I was installing the X51 headers).

Nice, my nose has a lot more scrapes than yours.

Engine view from the bottom looks unreal!

C'mon, don't you ever wash your car? It's filthy.

Just kidding!

Thanks for posting the pix,

J

Edgy,

Did the X-51 headers make a difference in the sound (loudness) coming from the PSE?

Thanks!

Removing and replacing those panels is a PITA if you are doing it from a creeper. A lift sure would have made it easier. I had about a 5 gal bucket of sand all over the top of my panels after my off track excursion last April.

Porsche sure did a good job on the 997. Its like a race car under there. I really like the nasa duct. Nice. Why didn't they extend the airflow management to the engine compartment.

Is that the chin protector sold by Performance Products in Pic #1?

If so, does it show much when viewed fron the front of the car?

I was thinking about buying one but was concerned that it would be too noticeable.
