Very nice, I happen to like red interiors (and even better if bicolor so the dash is not all red).

That pic looks inspired by this car

A poster named Nick on another thread concerning bmw vs porsche contends this car has no style and looks "frumpy",whatever frumpy means. How can anyone think this car does not look incredible? This is the epitome of style and design from the interior to the exterior.

BT is that you?

haha in all seriousness it looks redder than teracotta, but not as rich as the old Boxster red.

Not a big fan of the lipstick red interior, frankly. Welcome back to 1986. Wonder when we'll get the flatnoses?

I don't know where 'frumpy' comes from, look at the pic, it looks so sleek, angled, muscular/athletic but then that sense of high luxury with a beautiful leather interior and an open sky or fabric top. I personally love a fabric top, adds way more style/heritage/idontknow to the car.

Never thought of it that way...looks good now, in 10years...... Sort of like the cars that are "Burnt Orange", in 5yrs with some rust, ugly!

Actually it has been seeing classics as well as exotics looking stunning with red leather interiors that makes me think it could be a beautiful and timeless option. Of course the tone and treatment can make all the difference, lets hope it is a nice hue.

Never been a fan of the current Terracotta because to me it looks like the clay color of pottery. I hope the new red is more striking and sporty.

Interesting that people's tastes can be so diametrically opposed. I can't understand how anyone can think it's attractive. It's absolutely horrid in my eyes. I feel the same way about terracotta.

Pardon me,as i was not meaning the color so much as the layout and design of the interior. My 62 356 had red leather but it had aged to a beautiful patina.A totally different hue and color than the red in the pic.

This carrera red is a bright color, so of course it's polemic. Just like black, gray, and tan, carrera red and terracotta have their time and place.

A black/black car probably won't offend anyone like a cobalt/terracotta car will, but I'll bet a black/black car won't incite as many impulse purchases as one with brighter, more individual colors.

Personally, I'm glad we buyers have a choice. My father used to have an arctic/can-can 993, and that was just stunning. Bring on the bright colors
