are the air vents now going to be circular as opposed to rectangular? at first blush i don't care for them.

The round vents look so boxster/cayman-ish. At least the rectanular vents sets the 997 apart from the boxster/cayman.

The 997 still has rectangular air vents, and the Coxster still has sort of circular/eliptical ones.

The pic with the round vents is of a Boxster, not a 997.

Ah, my mistake. I didn't read your post carefully enough and thought you were commenting on the color. I do like some interior reds, but usually only on an old classic like a 356 or an early Corvette.

I absolutely agree that the 911 is one of the most beautiful car designs ever.

Boxster red is still my favourite. sort of a more red hued saddle colour. It's nice.
I like red interiors on classics, not on new cars.

The configurator has only been good for rough estimates, Dave, and you know that.

However, there does seem to be more FLAIR with the first red as opposed to the second, haha!
