Just make sure you don't have a clear bra on the lower area. I do and the adhesive didn't last very long. Mine fell off but thankfully it happened in the garage. I'm now considering an OEM mount even though it looks awful.

Bummer. I'm a bit surprised none of our mech engineers have come up with a better bracket that bolts somewhere inside the holes below the bumper.

Oh well, might have to be OEM for me, too.

Knock on wood but zero tickets for no front plate in over two years ownership.
I do use the moweraxle kit for my annual inspection though.

Afraid to rain on your parade, but these cars are so low in front that his design won't last a day without being torn off and left in the street someplace.

Here's another option that a number of folks in Vancouver are using ...

It is a reflective decal made of 3M product by a local sign company ... a close replica of the actual paint that sticks to the bumper (or in my case, the clear bra).

I don't think it is strictly legal, but it seems to work and so far I have had no problems.

Interesting idea.
Who makes these in Vancouver?

Check with Stuart at Weissach ... he had it made up for me when the car was new. Cost ~ $100 and delivered within a couple of days.

Saw a black plastic molded front license plate holder today on a C4S.It was curved at the top and molded to the curve of the bumper.Looked very good.Has anyone seen or have this license plate holder/frame?
Thanks

I have this same setup, and thus far, I've not had any problems with the plate hitting the ground. It does reduce the ground clearance by about 1/2 inch, but it works fine, so long as you are cautious.
