Default here she is!

3 month wait is over, my new 997S!

Gt silver/cocoa with leather roofline, sun visor, dome surround, and center rear console
I LOVE this car, incredible improvement from my 996, reminds me of my 993

I'll add better pictures when the final coat of Zaino dries and I take it outside

Fourth pic down on the left side... looks like the adjoining surface is brown Alcantara but yet you have a leather headliner. Is the sunroof liner Alcantara?

Also, this cocoa doesn't look mottled (marbled?) as in other pics I've seen. Is it really not mottled or is it just the lighting in this pic?

A beautiful car & color combination for sure. Congratulations!

The steering wheel is not the normal round center wheel we normally see on the "S" but the triangular shaped one? What is the spec on it?

How about a list of all options so we can all drool a little?

thanks, the sunliner is leather, I was told altantara is not available in cocoa.

I was concerned that all the leather would br overwhelming, but it is not, just the smell! (which I love)

the marbled effect is barely ddtectable in real life. In fact, you have to look closely to even see it. the rear console in leather looks great:

some randon thoughts:

1) ride much better than my 996 c4s
2)interior materials much classier
3)every thing is silky smooth
4)I've gotten more looks and thumbs up in 2 days then I got in 3 years of thr 996!
5)seats very comfortable
6)Bose in nice, but not in the same class as the Lexus system, but who cares?
7)paint is flawless
8) I spent the afternoon cleaning it: dawn wash, dry, clay bar, wash, dry, zaino z5, zaino z6, Zaino Z5, zaino z8, zaino z-cs, zaino leather treatment. great products with great results.

listed as "steering wheel in smooth leather" a bargain at $240

my first Porsche was a 993, basic with little options,, the 996 c4s was "performance equiped"

this car I went for the luxury options ( I guess I am getting old)

leather everything, bose, power seats, self dimming mirrors, etc. (The side lights will soon be clear)

Default Rear Wiper what does that for?

That is a great car, I really like the Cocoa Full interior and GT Silver, you spared no expense. Very Nice!

As for the rear wiper, I understand why you ordered that when I saw the Stoddard licence plate. I grew up in Concord (Ohio) and I know how much it rains. Also, I have had my fair share of tickets from the Kirtland Police. All of the roads around there are 25 mph down steep hills, I took my foot off the brake once and my car sped up to 59 and sure enough I went right into a speed trap.

After many years of rain and snow, I cracked and moved to Los Angeles.

Is there a reason you didn't get the C4S again? The AWD is perfect for light rain and some light snow (provided you have the right tires).

I found that I did not use the C4S in bad weather, I have a Saab and Lexus SUV for that. The C4s w/ snow tires was awesome in snow, but I never trusted the other driver.

great golf course in concord, Little Mountain

Love the leather center console and the leather dome. First time I've seen that. Nice touch. Well enjoy and drive the heck out of her.
