Exclamation JUST Came in CHALLENGE Wheels for my C2S 19X8.5/10

My wheels just came in......
19" PORSCHE CHALLENGE Wheels made by MODULARWHEELS also known as the eBay wheels . So far my over all quality impression is okay. Out of 10 being the best, they are 8, but for the money they are a 10 I'm going to post the pictures on here in a few minutes.

that should be quite interesting. mention impressions with balancing (also mention tire brand as pirellis are prone to more balancing effort I read) and post pics so we can see what they look like. Then, a month down the road come back and tell us more on how they are holding up - there have been concerns about durability: If a pot hole makes them square then it would be good to know... Good luck!

Are you worried about the 10" rim width? OEM for 19 inch is 11" and the recommended range for 295/30 is 10.5" to 11.5"

First off, I truly hope you like them and that they hold-up well over time. That being said, I would not even contemplate putting these wheels on my car. Your sport Designs are beautiful, properly sized, high quality wheels ....to me these ebay wheels are a downgrade. If you eventually decide to go another direction I would recommend (IMHO): BBS, Fikse, Champion, Kenesis, HRE or Work. Not truying to make you feel bad, but I know too many people who have went bananas dealing with cheap ebay wheels and replicas.

Good points - are they lighter than OEM? Are they tested / approved (ie: TUV)? If heavier, then you'll see a decrease in performance. If they are 10" rears, then you'd be looking to narrow up the tires, maybe a 265 rear (do they make one) which is what Porsche puts on a 10" wheel?

Wow, not bad. Porsche legal will have a field day with their wheel caps. Hope they aren't based in the US.

yes their caps are reverse of the porsche ones and except for the name and a few details...very similar to their ah..trademark. My wife noticed they looked "off" when I showed her the pic. Had to get one of my color crest caps to compare for sure.

Let us know how they work/fit/ride.

Why areyu going with a narrower tire for the rear? Porsche standard size for the rear on 19" is 11"! My car came with 305's stock for the rear and you will have to go with a much narrower 265 in the rear.

I sure hope you can use the real Porsche center caps with those wheels...otherwise it will look like somebody wearing a nicely tailored, very expensive suit with an obviously fake Rolex.
