Default Cab rear window problem

The rear windows in my 07 C4S do not close all the way when I put the top up. Does anyone know the solution for this? Can I do it myself?

This is not unusual. What is important is to run the windows all the way down at some point so that the window controllers 'learn' where full down is. It should clear itself up shortly. I had that problem I think myself for a brief time. It cleared up on its own without bothering a dealer.

I had the same problem. Dealer said it was a regulator problem and they replaced it under warranty.

Like Edgy said, start with the simple stuff first. Put them down all the way- when down all the way hold the button 'down' for several seconds. Then put them up all the way holding the button for 'up' all the way for several seconds. Should fix it; if not it'll be covered under warranty.

it happens to me a couple of times. Do you guys think the problem relates to smart top? I hate the idea of taking the smart top unit out before taking the car to the dealer.

Turn off SmartTop and see if problem still exists!

Spoke with local dealer service department today and was told that it takes approx. one hour to fix this problem. Warranty issue.
