Default Sport Seat Retrofit Problem

I recently swapped out a set of power/memory seats for manual sport seats in my `05 997s. When completed the tilt function does not work on the driver’s side.

The only obvious difference is in the harnesses from the car. The passenger side has a single yellow plug while the driver’s side has the yellow plug plus a pigtail that plugs into an ECU box.

I assume this box controls the power/memory functions in the powered seat but absent from the sport seat. I also assume that the tilt function is powered from the yellow plug as it works fine on the passenger side.

I found no help on a site search but am hoping someone has insight into this issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

More on the retrofit issue.

I got it working with pwr/gnd from the (now) unused plug to the ECU to tilt motor terminals on the seat plug.

Edgy01 is right however, make sure you can ID the correct terminals for
your car year, model and options.

The only suggestion that I can make is to avoid the fine bright yellow wires. Those are for air bags. Proceed with caution around those. They will blow if you're not careful.

Hey do you have any more info. Same problem. I assumed it was due to the memory functions in the comfort seat.

Do you remember the color of wires that you brought over?
