Like I said in the other thread, I would order a "paint to sample" pastel blue.

I just purchased my first Porsche (2007 - 997 C2) in Midnight Blue metallic with the stone gray full leather interior. It is awesome! I'm glad I made this choice.

Congrats and welcome to Rennlist. It is customary for "newbies" to tell us a little about their cars and to post a couple of pics! You may want to start a new thread to do just that, otherwise your "intro" may get buried in this thread!

Love my car but wish I would have ordered it with something that goes with cocoa. I've decided that I just have to have cocoa. Also wish I could have persuaded wife that we go with the coupe.

Why the coupe vs. your cab?

my 996 was black/black, and my 997 is black/black. as funny as it sounds, i like black because i think it makes the car a bit more discrete and obscure, kinda hiding the lines. i love driving the p-car, but i don't like being noticed in it. for that same reason, i don't mind a dirty black car. a lighter-colored car shows all the lines (which is normally good). this all being said, i've really grown to like meteor grey/cocoa, and would be very tempted to go that direction. although i do share nkhalidi's preference that street/track car interiors should be black-- all business. btw, all my other recent cars (bimmers) have been titanium silver.

Love my Speed Yellow - only other color I would consider would be one of the oranges.

Couldn't have said it better. My salesman talked me into the color and I love it.

Sports cars should be colorful, not some quietly subtle, mix in with the masses, embarrassed to be out there, color! Same with the inside,--something RICH!

I have black (see avitar) but the next will be White or Red.

White with black seats and red trim inside

Red with black seats with red trim inside.

Dream car is a GT3 with a clutchless paddle shift transmission.

well, you certainly practice what you preach! on the other side, these cars are serious tools and machines, not frivolous toys painted to look like easter eggs.

I now have black, and despite it being a high maintenance exterior, I'd have it no other way.

Oh and I'm also glad my wife likes a cab. Absolutely no reason to change that trend!!
