My color choice was Carmen Red- which is really more of a Cabernet wine-like burgandy....really beautiful color to me and one that changes hue in different light. If I ever changed rides (997 Turbo), I'd still go with the same, but change interior to Nat Brown vs Sav. beige. Past thread on who has the best looking P-car, my vote went to the guy with a 997cab with Carmen Red and Nat Brown int...Bottom line is "all 997s" look awesome, just keep them clean.....

I have Slate Gray now and would go to Guards Red or White if it was not a daily driver.

Jim. Just curious, why white or red if not a daily driver?

I have had arctic silver, black, guards red, and speed yellow. If I could I think I would change my speed yellow 997S to signal yellow, and change my guards red 911 to Mexico blue. No more blah colors for me. And definitely no more black cars! Way too much work for a daily driver.

When you take a car that seriously then you are truly doomed! My Craftsman tools are chrome plated but I wouldn't go so far as to order a chrome-laden "tool[s] and machine[s]..." of a car...

I like my Easter egg! (It's also very easy to pick out of a crowd of Porsches,--"which silver Porsche is yours?")

Will be receiving by new P-Car next week to two. Ordered Midnight Blue/Sand Beige. If I could change it for a day I would have to say total black. Black paint/ black interior/ black wheels (total blackness) would be very cool. The other is GT3 RS black and orange looks pheonominal, pictures does not serve it justice.

Tools of what? Pft, they are toys, if they were simply a-b tools you would be driving a civic. A Porsche is completely frivolous. Fun, and a precision instrument, but a frivolous and fun precision instrument.

Agree, wholeheartedly--when Boardwalk Porsche had their grand opening party in the new building in November, they had gorgeous valet hostesses. And I can tell you, my car (or me--ok the car) made an impression. She knew I was the guy with the "pretty blue" 911 (PCA Club Coupe in Azurro California blue) among the seas of black, gray and silver

Oh, and I wouldn't change the color one bit
