Nice choice for wheels!!

BTW, why did you put the Cup lower lip on? The GT3 lower lip is the correct one and is cheaper.

Yes we can trash these lips big time, that's why I went with the GT3 ones as they are easy to replace, cost less and have that matte black finish.

If you choose to lower it and keep PASM, you can do one of two things. One is to use H&R springs for PASM equipt cars, or you can go all out and get the Bilstein PSS9's for PASM. With the Bilstein shocks, these are coilovers and have many adjustments for street/track. H&R springs will lower it for less $$. Add new swaybars and you'd have one kick-*** car!!

Deanski

I really, really, really, really like the wheels... but I would think the "rivets" could be very, very, very, very hard to keep clean.

Deanski, The dealership convinced me to put on the Cup lip cause of its durability. GMG also made the same recommendation so I just did it. I cant say I am 100% satisfied with my decision, but like you said, it isnt hard to replace and once this one gets ragged enough I am going to swap it with the GT3/ Aerokit lip.

Dr997, thanks, and you would be really surprised. This is my third set of RH wheels with rivets and they are actually a peice of cake to keep clean. I use wheel wax twice a year on them and no probs. These wheels are super easy to keep clean in general.

Dave, 19's, but you can get them in 18's.

RR - you got the wheels sooner than I thought you would. Obviously, I love 'em given I had them on my CaymanS. Look great on red!!!! Now lower that thing and add a Techart or Speedart wing and you're set buddy.

btw, I just lowered my TTwith JIC coil overs and love the ride/ ride height. My Iforged rims w/MPS2 tires are due in this week.

I just ordered the GT3 front bumper for my 997S and plan to paint the bottom piece. I am lowered on H&Rs and will try not to destroy the lip, but if I do the cost is affordable at $100 for a black replacement. Supposedly it is easy to instal tool.

that will look sweet on your 997. Where do you get the replacement for 100 bones?

curious as to why we don't see these on more 997 models, especially given how much everyone loves them. are they just becoming available for the 997?
