Do what some of us Marylanders do and "don't install it" and pay the fine if caught...

I emailed all the committee members this morning. I've received personal responses from three, two of whom are opposed to the bill, the other didn't commit either way. Since most who support it will probably not respond to the email, this is not encouraging. But at least the emails are being received and read, so I encourage other North Carolinians to write.

Letter and email on the way. I flat out refuse to have a front plate or off to FL for the registration and NC loses all around.

Thanks Eric.

Default We require dual plates, my car came from Florida

and doesn't have a font plate holder, I drive with just the rear one, worse case is a ticket for no plate, just use the excuse that the plate holder is on back order form the manufacturer.

Good luck, I hope that the bill gets killed, it serves no purpose IMO.

I emailed every single state rep. Heard nothing back. When can we expect a front plate so I can make plans to register in FL.
Another nice feature of FL reg. is no inspection sticker in the window. Maybe NC should copy NY and mandate 2 stickers in the window. What bafoons
