Expect hp increases (~ 15hp for the Carrera S), along with LED taillights, revised intakes, and PDK as an option.

I have heard this elsewhere too, and I just wonder how accurate it is. Have any idea how accurate it actually is?

I think PDK is another way of saying DSG.

If ordering a new c2s, I now wonder if it's worth putting it off until the MY09 car? Opinions are appreciated.

Weird- why would they print that when CEO Dr. Wendelin Wiedeking told someone during the Cayenne Launch (it wasn't my dealerships group) that those options WON'T be out for the '08MY.

As always with Porsche information: Proceed with caution unless you PHYSICALLY can touch the vehicle.

Hi,

PDK is German and means Direkt Shift Gearbox (P orsche D oppel K upplungsgetriebe). It works with two clutches (in German D oppel K upplung). It was originally designed in the early 80th by Porsche engineers for prototyp races (Hans-Joachim Stuck drove one).

Best regards
Rolf
