Default Someone went overboard with the options

I'm not sure if I have seen an options list that is much longer. A pretty interesting combo to go with the Meteor Gray, cocoa, sycamore, yellow seat belts, and deviated yellow stiching on a $168k TT.....it might be a tough sell. (I apologize if anyone out there is actually looking to buy this car).

That is someone's sick joke... that thing is NASTY...

The only thing I can think is that someone wanted to screw that dealer and ordered that disaster. Cocoa, sycamore and yellow????

I would guess that the yellow stiching, seat belts, etc. in the interior were selected to go with the yellow PCCB calipers on the outside. I don't think it quite works, though.

It proves that money doesn't necessary equate with taste. I saw this posted elsewhere,--maybe Rennteam. It's interesting to see how simply two mistakes can ruin an entire car. First off,--switch the sycamore out for makassar,--and then lose the yellow stuff,--then it's decent. I have yet to find many interiors that work with the sycamore.

Its not too terribly horrendous, I think black/terras setup was worse Is that guy around anymore?

It's salvageable and would look halfway decent if the owner got rid of the yellow trim and seat belts.

When I see that much wood in a car it makes me want to smoke a pipe for some reason, I dunno why

WOW, it was looking bad, and then the yellow just ended it all. I agree with the makasar wood comment, kill anything yellow and we might have something. But THAT my friends is hideous and I like wierd options. Check out the personalitzation page at for some examples of what personalization SHOULD look like!

I like the cell phone.

When they first came out (centuries ago I think) I was one of the first to have one.

Motorola transponder in the trunk of my MZB and the detachable handset in the car. It was heavy and cumbersome. But it was portable. You could attach the handset onto the transponder, and "wheel-barrel" it around.

Cost was $45.00 per month and $0.45 per minute for service. The unit itself was $3,000.00. Installation another $500.00 or so with the trunk mounted antenna. But it was soooo talking on the phone from your car.

As far as the car, well, it simply proves money and taste aren't always synonymous.
