Does anyone here remember the scene in Animal House when they're reviewing slide photos of the pledge named Flounder and everyone starts screaming???????

That was my reaction when I saw this car.

I agree while it may look good to whomever designed it...I don't think the general purchasing public would like that car!

I don't recall ever seeing a custom OEM mat option (trim and logo in color choice). Although I think the choice in this particular case is horrendous, I could think of some combinations that would be nice. Any ideas if this was a local custom job?

Yes, the mats are a factory option. Code CFX; the link in the original post lists all the options on the car.

The only "flash" that would improve that would be from a low-yield nuclear device to reduce into dust...

That thing is a complete nightmare. Why not just get a red Cayman with a green interior... well... uhh...

Jokes aside, cocoa/gray/wood/yellow DO NOT MATCH. I'd much rather have the RK Coupe's color scheme.

lmao, that's a good one. I still stand by the fact that removing the trim and those yellow seat belts would make it sellable to the masses.

Ha ha

Seems like you don't like it either as you've left your dealer at the altar waiting. And he's now trying to find other suitors!

Some poor bastard is going to pay a buck-and-a-half for the car of his dreams.... then sign up here as a new 6-speed member with some pics of his new-pride-and-joy....only to have one of youuuzzzz guys direct him to this thread. The humiliation will ceratainly cause a cardiac arrest, and his demise will be on your hands..

What a heartless crowd.

Perhaps it appears better in person than with the brightness of the camera's flash...it has to...

The yellow deviating stitching, floor mat trim and seat belts would look even worse/better if the instrument gauges were speed yellow!

I'm sure it (will) make(s) someone very happy...

But there's no escaping the brightness of direct sunlight.
