Most of my best friends are folks that I met through PCA. Events are alot more fun to go to when you know someone. I've gone to every Porsche Parade since 1996 because it's fun meeting up with people that you haven't seen in a year. Also cool to be in a hotel that is taken over by PCA/Porsche. Especially the parking garage. Also cool to have members of the Porsche family at the Parade. At Hershey, during the actual Parade of Porsches, I was driving my racecar and Peter Porsche was driving a Cayenne Turbo. When we got to the destination, he came over and said "this time I followed you, next time, we race".

Member since 1992, have held most Region Offices. Currently Membership Chairman, which is by far my favorite, as I love meeting and talking to the newbies. Our Region (Orange Coast) is very active both socially and in track and road events. I'll second comments above - most of our best friends are folks we met at Porsche Club events. The people are the best part of the deal.

I don't like groups larger than three ..but why would one not join?
There are no forced marches and your marital conversations are not monitored by NSA.
....one thing I like: you can subscribe to tech questions on specifc models and see what other people ask w/response via email.
