Chef,...I never realized you were a Brit! I always figured you were a Frenchy - silly me with the Le Chef and all!!!
I don't take JC too seriously either but I must say that I find him very entertaining at times. I just wish he's lighten up his stance on p-cars.

Entertainiment or not, Top Gear beats the heck out of any North American car TV show that I have access too. I mean...Motoring 2007.... not even in the same ballpark.

Anywhere else I could view past Top Gear episodes?
First of all,...I've got to tell you that I thought you were my brother for a second there. His name is Mike and our last name is Batal....LOL - alas, he drives a BMW 3x or something like that and a minivan (despite having the clams to buy a Bugatti - ugh).
Anywho,...to watch TG the simplest thing to do is to get the episodes via Bit Torrent sites - either www.finalgear.com (exclusively TG and 5th Gear) or www.mininova.org (everything a/v under the sun). It's all free but there is a learning curve to it. Basically you'll need to download a Torrent reader (such as Azureus) and then simply play. When a TG episode gets released there can be literally thousands of people downloading the torrent - this is a good thing (it's referred to as seeding and leeching) and a 700 MB AVI episode may only take 2-3 hours to download. For older 'lesser' demand episodes where there may be 0-3 seeds/leechers at a given time it may take a few days to get the episode. The ides is that once you get the file downloaded, you continue to upload it at whatever speed you can handle to share with others.
It's a fascinating technology that does not share files linearly but rather randomly filling the file - go read about it....it's sort of cool.
Feel free to PM me with any Qs - anything for my brother.

Fair comment. I think you have to be cautious about what you download and where from. I have one trusted site that I use (for TV) and never have any problems.

If you start getting into the pirated software, pirate movies etc etc then you are only asking for trouble.....

Its the best show on telly. Bar none, well, bar "24" I guess. My son can watch it, my wife is Britsh, so of course she loves it. Serious car show? Watch 5th gear and fall asleep. ZZZZZzzzzzz.

Someone here was NOT entertained by the Reliant Robin bring blasted into the English Countryside? Or the trip across he Panhandle of Florida?

No wonder people in the UK think he have police sticks so far up our asses we can't 'ave-a-laugh.

And the more special thing is that with the entirely socialist collectivist environment that is brewing in that country and the mainland, that this show is even still there? I welcome them to get more and more risky, and if that means 20 minutes cars, and 40 minutes blowing stuff up and destroying environmental preserves of MUD, then so be it.
