Question NOISE LEVEL

im going to a track day on the 17th and the track has a noise limit of 103db. there are z06's and radicals that the track runs and they are within the limit.

my car has no mufflers and i prefer to keep it that way, does anyone know what my db level might be?? otherwise the car is completely stock.
TIA

What track?

Most likley you will exceed the noise limit

103db is loud... Laguna Seca Noise Limit is 92db

Worst that can happen you're kicked off the track for the rest of the day with no refund.

The only time I had a decibel check done on a track day was at Lime Rock about twenty years ago. I had headers on a rotary engine with nothing else for noise suppression - it was VERY loud and I am convinced that they pointed the decibel gun away from me during the test (i.e. I don't think they were looking to fail anyone!).
Perhaps things are the same where you are???

103db isn't that loud. I don't think you have a chance if they enforce the limit. As Coochas said some tracks are loose with the noise limits. I would take the mufflers with, if you want to be sure and run.

Would that be Phoenix?

They are noise ***** at Phoenix for sure - events have been shut down for noise before now.

Oh, and watch out for the speed cops on the way into Parump!!

They are good old boys who speed trap with the old X band RADAR on track days - speed taxing the tourists from CA.

They sit 5 miles out of town, where the speed limit starts to drop - BEWARE!
