Still believe that all we really need is the car- This why we are all here right??? For the most part, the ala Carte items are really beside the point.

But really good seats are essential for an EFFECTIVE driving experience.

Therefore, the best option is:

Adaptive Sport Seats (heated leather of course).

Porsche doesn't offer out-of-the-box driving skill as an option, yet...
Until then, experience behind the steering wheel + a qualified car is all we need for a fantastic experience every time we drive.

For the record, I do have a few creature comforts built into my 997 S. Doesn't hurt as long as the options don't out weigh the P-urpose.

I'm not sure how I can take a picture of the sportshifter. It looks identical to the non-sportshifter albeit a bit more "upright" because of the lessened throws. You'd be best off going to the dealership and comparing a sportshifter vs non-sportshifter.

Got to be the PSE followed closely by the Adaptive seats.

BTW, I love the sunroof too (standard only in the US)... I'm probably in the minority on this one.

The opaque part is what the normal shift would be.

Lately it would be "me driving it". Roads are brutal where I live due to major construction project.

Cost Considering:

A.- Sport Exhaust
B.- Short Shift

Without Cost Consideration:

A.- X51 Power Kit
B.- PCCB

Of course on a 997S, which in reality is the Top Option “S”

Seriously, European Delivery. Then followed by the PSE, and PCCBs.

I am new here and this is my first post. I am in the process of trying to figure out what options to order on a 2008 c2s (European "Grand Tour" delivery in Sept. 2007) and I am trying to learn some of the terms, as well as exactly what I should get on the car

Is "PSE" the sport exhaust.

Also, what is the general consensus on having the seats made with the Alcantara inserts? I am considering ordering the car with the electric Adaptave seats with either Alcantara or supple inserts?

Any feedback would be appreciated very much.
