Escort 9500 or Valentine?
I have been a Valentine owner seemingly forever (with occasional trade-ins for upgrades). I have an older unit that I can upgrade for a new one for $189. Like many of us, I've always been hooked on the arrows. This new Escort ($449), with the built-in GPS chip, does seem to be raising the bar.
What is everyone's thoughts on it?

It's my understanding that the GPS routine within the latest design triangulates upon where the signal is sensed, saves that MPP (most probable position) into a memory cell which it then consults later if you're in the same area to see if it is that background clutter.
Seems to me for it to be effective you have to have passed that way at least once before to get it to be effective. I've found that very savy police know exactly where background noise is and often establish themselves near one to mask their own presence.
I still like the Valentine 1.

This is an interesting website. Problem is, he sells also, and since Valentine doesn't use distributors, they don't get much (any) air-time with him.
