Talking FINALLY!....got my baby back...NOW MORE PICS

its been over a month since my deer incident, but i finally got the C2S back tonight from the shop . I had to take a couple of pictures even though they look crappy because of the lighting (or lack there of). I optioned to get a custom front lip spoiler and keep it black instead of having it painted GR. looks better from different angles and in the light. think i should have had it painted? I'll post more pics tomorrow.

I like it black. I also like that you didn't slap a big whale tail on the back.

Car looks great!

Glad you finally got your car back. Looks good.

As for your lip spoiler, definitely have it painted. It looks ugly black IMO. Looks like a rubber squeegee. At any rate, it looks like a bolt-on, like something that was added after the fact. Maybe that's the look you're after.

But if you have it painted to match your body color it will look like it came that way from the factory, like a factory designed aero lip that blends smoothly with the rest of the front end and with the design of the car itself. Unpainted it sticks out. Maybe that's what you like.

You are going to scrape it, often, so it is best to leave it unpainted. If painted, unless you continually repaint, it will look ugly.

Is that lip spoiler different then the standard GT3/Aero one? It looks bigger to me. If so I would get the OEM one which looks more subtle. Maybe I am crazy

I'd leave it black. It looks great. Glad you got it back - ENJOY (and watch out for the deer).

The repair looks great. I love the black contrast with the Guards Red. Post more pics soon.
Can't wait to get my car back from the shop. Still under repair from an accident late in December. Saw it this week and everything is proceeding well. Not as bad as I thought. These cars are made very well.

In my daily driving around Burbank/Hollywood/Santa Monica I would scrape that spoiler-lip down to half its size in about two weeks.
It'll probably look better longer if you DON'T paint it. But it would look less "added on" if it were GR.

Personally I wouldn't paint it I would ditch it. Does look good on the white GT3 pic though.

Post more pics of car from different angles. I remember reading about how people like the front spoiler but not the back. I would like to study the car from more angles.

Your car looks great though. Your car makes me want mine to be red.

Thumbs up

The lip spoiler looks great on black. Although, you should consider the rear spoiler to keep the car aerodinamics balanced as Porsche recommends.
