Radar Detectors - this is pretty entertaining

Thanks for the x-post, that was a VERY informative read.
On the to-do list: hidden V1 and CB...
"Illinois Vehicle Code;
625 ILCS 5/12-503(c)
"No person shall drive a motor vehicle with any objects placed or suspended between the driver and the front windshield, rear window, side wings, or side windows immediately adjacent to each side of the driver which materially obstructs the driver's view."
$75 citation for Obstructed View"
We have similar a problem in Michigan.

YEARS ago most of the War Bonnet region of the PCA (in the Oklahoma area) ran with CBs. There is no denying that having good intel is important to running fast.
Another device that doesn't seem to be mentioned anymore is a scanner that was programmed state by state with active police and patrol frequencies,--and it gave you information on the proximity of those frequencies to your location. These seem to make a great deal of sense. That's another thing the police like to do. Talk on the radio. As such, it will also give themselves away.
I can see how even a simple factory-installed device like a sunvisor can be included in there,--"any object placed between the driver and the front windshield..." so it doesn't sound like a rock solid law. "Materially obstructs" sounds pretty subjective to me. My visor blocks the view of my V1.

Again - they somehow have connected speeding with unsafe operation. They do not indulge any sort of understanding of Driver Education, etc. How many "I like doing this... (to irritate and embarrass this person or that). Horrible.
Shadenfreude Freaks. Bullies in HS, and now they have a Gun, Nightstick, and an excuse and license to use them.

I found this site while searching for the legality/illegality of laser jammers in Colorado. I'm thinking of installing the SRX on my new cab. Anyone using one of these and, how easy is it for LEOs to figure out you have a jammer?

You have that right. One guy I remember from HS who should never have been handed a weapon is a cop today. (They wouldn't let him into the military,--too unstable).

I think it would be cool to join their forum with the username:

Just to mess with them and make them think twice when they pull someone over with the intent to ruin their day with a ticket.
