Default When does a Porsche cease to be a Porsche?

With all the modding going on and available, at what point do the mods take over and the car is no longer considered a Porsche....and it becomes Porsche-like? Just because the body is Porsche, but change everything else under the hood and suspension, does the car still qualify as Porsche? Also, at what point do the mods "hurt" the re-sale value/trade in value of the car?

It definitely "CEASES" to be a functional Porsche when the motor "SIEZES", if you know what I mean.

Why Cayman? It's parts sourcing is the same as the current 911 and mid engine aspect is like the 550 of old and the RS Spyder of today...

Would you guys stop? Geeez Laweeezzz...... A Cayman, Boxster, 911, and yes, Cayanne is ALL Porsche. Just ask the family. I'm sure they'll be happy to let you know when a Porsche, effectively, becomes 'not a Porsche'.

Go play some scrable or something...........OHHH wait I know.........

GO DRIVE YOUR PORSCHE!

When it gets a new VIN tag and a major country acknowledges the modifier as a manufacturer.

I think the point of the thread is being missed? And no one has addressed the re-sale question...interesting!
