Wink Big Decision - Part 2

Well, great news. My dealer came through and traded for a March build date for my order. I've decided that I'm going to stick with my original choice, a C4S coupe. As my "last" P-car I really like the AWD and of course the hips. I'm lucky enough now to have gotten all of the options that I really wanted:
Powerkit
Sport chrono
Short shift
Heated sport seats
Bose upgrade/6 disc changer
Nav
Self dim mirrors
Painted quarter panel
Carrera Sport wheels

I know the price is bucking up in GT3 and TT territory, but their not what I really want at this point. I do have a question that I need help on. I've ordered the car in Meteor Grey with Cocoa interior. I've seen some discussion here and other sites, but has anyone purchased this combo or seen it in the flesh. I have until Tuesday before the final order goes in. Thanks for all of your input on my previous posts. I'm having trouble sleeping now!

GWD:

I've not seen this combination myself, but all this topic has been discussed here. Most here are in the Silver/Cocoa camp, but again it's what you like, not what other want you to believe looks good. Here is a link to the Silver/Cocoa picture and the last big Meteor/Cocoa discussion.

Nice choice!

You are aware that the Head unit CD is MP3 capable...
Is there really a need for the remote CD?

Cocoa interior will look great!

Considering that music purchased via iTunes cannot be burned as MP3's so maybe a CD Changer isn't a total waste of money.

The car sounds incredible, but I really suggest you look at a Meteor car in the flesh. My brother ordered a 987S in Meteor/Black and cancelled his order after seeing a Meteor 997S - just too much brown, very different from Seal. Although you may wind up loving what you ordered, and IMO GT Silver with Cocoa is gorgeous, you should really look at the colors in person before finalizing. Good luck!

i'd go with black interiors..... just because all my other cars were butterscotch, beige, brown, etc..... just a pain to keep it looking clean......

Cocoa interior is super. I couldn't agree more though with the rec to go look at meteor. I was headed that way myself until last weekend when I went to the dealership... it was a cloudy rainy day and meteor just didn't do it for me. While I put my money down, I've at least for now gone with AS and Cocoa. Cocoa fits with meteor okay, especially with the bronzy tone in it, but I found MG itself to be flat. My job revolves around my ability to help companies and people make large complex decisions. It is quite a bit different when it is my own decision. I'm looking at an April buld at MSRP.

Should look very nice with that color combo. And from what I've heard you'll love the powerkit.
Go with your initial instincts and place your order. You also may want to see the color Meteor Grey in person before finalizing your specs. Sometimes the pics don't do it full justice.

Good luck, Jay

Default I recommend eiither GT or Arctic Silver versus Meteor with Cocoa

When you see the combo in the flesh, I'm sure you will agree that the Cocoa, especially with the GT Silver is a winning combination. IMO Metor is TOO DARK to complememnt the Cocoa interior.....

Thanks for all of the comments. I've decided to stick with the meteor/cocoa. I'll pass along picks when it comes in sometime in April.
