Go aftermarket! They look prettier!
Pretty is good but for a header I'd prefer proven performance. Europipe is a very reputable outfit and they found the best system to be the Porsche X51 header combined with their sport catalysts and mufflers. They would certainly design and sell you a header also if they thought it would be superior. If I recall correctly they claim the combination is worth 16 extra HP and costs close to 5K.

That's what I hear as well... X51 header and sport cats are one of the best ways to go.

Porsche has the technology and I'd think would be the best when it comes to high performance headers. I also wonder which ones they use on Cup cars, and the newer 3.8 Cup.

FarnbackerLoles mates the X51 to Milltek cans and sport cats on some 3.8's. Sound is insane! Not too bad on normal city driving, but get on the loud pedal, and you'll find the meaning of LOUD PEDAL!!!

Anything free-flowing attached to the X51 headers should work very well.

Regards,
Deanski

97.111.105.00 -- exhaust manifold cylinders 1-3 (X51)
997.111.106.00 -- exhaust manifold cylinders 4-6 (X51
$278/side at sunset.
Gaskets (header and cat attachments) are the same as the stock gaskets, so I would guess they have the same bolt pattern and fittings.

Carnewal can get them faster than any dealer. As with nearly any Porsche part.

That said, this mod seems like a waste of money.
