Battery Maintinance
When keeping the car plugged into a battery maintainer for extended periods of time how often should the water level in the battery be checked? Has anyone experienced diminished levels occuring quickly when storing their car with a maintainer? Thanks

I usually keep my car on a tender all winter and have had no issues with battery performance or maintenance.
I can't imagine you'll have any issues.
Which maintainer are you using?

From one JFS to another...
I have a battery maintainer on both the Bike, Boxster and 911 during the winter months becuase I don't drive those vehicles very much due to snow, etc.
The sealed batteries on all three are fine and do not need to be checked as long as you are using a "trickle charger" such as the Porsche battery maintainer, HD product, etc.

Here's a pic of how I store my car all winter long minus the car cover for the photo. I have the Porsche trickle charger on at all times, and I store my car on 4 rubber pads from Tire Cradle so my tires don't flat spot. My garage is also climate controlled, which is always nice for a happy car
I too use the Tire Cradles & Maintainer (with an orange extension cord no less).
I just showed your picture to wifeepoo and was greeted with "another sick f***.
But of course its normal to have 50+pairs of shoes.

Im more worried about damage to the rubber seal being compressed with the chord for so long. I would rather crack the window and put it thru there. Also would provide a little vent so you dont get any musty odor during storage months.
