When keeping the car plugged into a battery maintainer for extended periods of time how often should the water level in the battery be checked? Has anyone experienced diminished levels occuring quickly when storing their car with a maintainer? Thanks
JFS
The battery is NOT maintenance free. You must add distilled water as needed. Check them once a month and, if you are perfect you won't let water go too much below the level indicator in each cell which is like a little leg hanging down from top. Water should touch it's "foot"
