So, do you like the way this looks? I really don't like the volcano grey of the PCM and would do this in combination with the basic CF package and CF switch panel (as pictured). Only thing is it will be with a black interior. Will it be too black?
And, before anyone says it: I know this is not worth it, brings no value, will get killed on re-sale etc. etc. etc.

I'm the wrong guy to ask - I don't like any leather upgrade... Base is fine with me and holds up better, makes the car lighter, will not get funky when on the track in the rain with the windows down, etc.

Honestly, no, and it's not because I don't like leather in cars...I don't like that panel painted or in CF either. To my eye, all of these special finishes draw attention to it and emphasize that it is a horribly random array of tiny buttons, many of them needless, around a screen that is not centered in an otherwise symmetrical console.

I love leather options on ALL the interior colored plastic pieces but I happen to like the volcano grey and the aluminum look because they break up the monochromatic effect.
If you don't like volcano grey than I would go with CF over the leather covered PCM if that's possible.

The question is "do you like it", not what else you'd do with the money etc...I love it! Makes the interior look very luxurious
By the way, where did this picture come from?

I think it will look crap in a couple of years with scratches, nicks, and coffee stains. I'm also coming to the same conclusion about full leather overall and think the next one will have the basic plastic interior with a couple of pieces of cf or aluminum to brighten it up. But if you don;t plan to keep the car very long then go for it.

I would only go for it if I were doing the ENTIRE interior in leather. But I prefer the nice mix of a little silver/grey here and there, along with leather. It will wear poorly,--best in a darker color I would suspect.

Yes BUT....... Agree with Le Chef unless you take real good care of it, park always in a garage, out of the sun etc... do not think it will hold up as well and you of course will never get your money back out of it when you sell. Now if you a are short term buyer who does not care about losing money and want something that looks, in my opinion, great today then buy. So BLUF would be yes I like it however would not buy it based upon the monetary loss and or future up keep.
