Default Black Sport Chrono Dial on C2S

Happy Holidays!
I searched the forum but haven't come across the information I'm looking for. If it's already been discussed, I apologize ahead of time. I was wondering if anyone has attempted to order a 997 C2S with Sport Chrono with black instrument faces and also tried to get the Sport Chrono instrument on the dash with a black instrument face. I have been talking with the local dealer who says it can't be done. I have also run across an E-Bay item that showed black guages all around on a 997 C2S (lost the URL though). Any Thoughts?

It would appear that the 997GT3, which has black gauges standard (with a grey tach), has a black chrono stopwatch:

Yup. They are in my car.

My dealer also said you couldn't get black guages. Well . . . guess what . . . I did.

It is totally possible, they are just looking in the wrong part of the order book.

I ordered my '06 C2S with "black gauge faces" (a no-charge option in the summer of 2005). I also ordered Sport Chrono, never gave a thought to what color the wart would be. When the car arrived in Oct '05, all the gauges, including the dash timer, were in classic black. It's very old-school, but my personal preference.

Since Porsche still puts black gauges on its non-S cars, I don't see why you couldn't "special order" the blacks on any S car.

Option 022. Black dials for C2S, and that includes SC. And this is the second time I've had it. Change your dealer!

How hard would it be to change over from white on all gauges? I prefer the black too.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the responses. I've got the order guide from Renntech and will look for option code 022. Have a great holiday.
