I'm just saying that the K40 no matter what type either be a windshield detector or the K40 Calibre has ever passed any test from the major testers or even the independent testers like myself. When we shoot the Lambo with the K40 Calibre laser jammer we were able to get speed and distance with ease at very far and unacceptable laser jammer performance. We did several runs with the lambo did the worst in the laser jammer group but had not only put the K40 on his Lambo but on also his black Corvette Z06, The lambo owner had $5000 on K40 Calibre on his 2 rides and was very pissed off. The owner of the shop was also there to witness this which he had the Bel LP 904/905 laser jammer on his White SUV and was easily picked off but atleast that performed better but that is also far below quality laser jammer stanards. The store owner called K40 and they said the K40 Calibre was only designed to work between 800-1300 feet and you have to slam on the brakes...that was very funny. The plain facts are that the K40 does not work in jamming laser. Even though the K40 was very nicely installed it failed in jamming laser and would just get you a ticket and offered you no time in long distance and short distance protection. This is what I do in my free time and have tested alot of cars with different laser jammers and I continue to see a pattern of what works and what doesnt work. This is not about saying that that K40 doesnt work, its just about educating here in what does work and what doesnt work. Different laser guns have come out and the older style laser jammers dont protect.

Your talking about the Passport SR7 laser jammer system. It works ok against the Prolaser III because its a Escort ZR3 but in a combined unit with radar dectection. The major selling for the SR7 or anything else like that it is stealthy, but its old technology and not able to protect against the new laser guns out. I have also tested that also since that is very popular. Is that what you have or thinking about getting it?

I am currently using a Bel RX65. It is my fourth Bel and each has done me well. I also used a Lidatek 30 in my Benz CLK 500. It worked for me numerous times so I am happy with buying a new one for C2 Cab. Lidatek has been sold and the new company is in Cal. The BMW M5 board where I bought my Lidatek as part of a group buy has the latest information about Lidatek current operations.
