Default '05 Nav Disc Update Available

Just got a card in the mail stating that:
Map updates are now available for all model year 2005 Porsche vehicles with DVD navigation systems
Navtech seems to be out of the upgrade loop now....
Visit your local Porsche Dealer.

I wonder what the cost will be ???
Free is just not in the vernacular of Porsche

Since my car will be replaced next week, guess I'll forgo the update

It is not Free..
The Nav disc is approx $350
and the PCM will have to be upgraded to rev B to read it, at an additional cost.

Gotta love the Porsche way

One of the reasons I didn't get Nav.

I guess I'll live with the old version. I would've liked an upgrade, especially for the NY city area....in downtwon NY the thing is horrible, if you follow it you can end up in Kansas! For $350, I'll pull over and ask a cabbie....assuming they know.
