Here's a 997 sand beige picture on an overcast day.

There clearly is a reflection with sand beige, as well as other colors (more so with the beige). However, it's only a problem if you consciously stare at the reflection on your windshield, rather than the road ahead. After this thread started I actually looked for the reflection in my sand beige cabrio, and sure enough I found it. It had always been obviously, but I never "saw" it, so it didn't bother me. It still doesn't, because I'm not looking at the windshield, but further afield. I hope that makes sense.

Hi. I had a 997.2 sand beige C2. It was a beautiful interior but the reflection on the windshield could be annoying at times (I guess it depended on the sunlight, time of day, etc). For whatever reason I even had nicknamed it 'tiger teeth'...I have upgraded to a 4GTS with black interior and don't miss it at all.

You won't get that same angle from the drivers seat.

I have never noticed any reflection while driving so this thread seems strange to me. I won't look for it either, for fear that if I do see it I won't be able to get past it. I have a sand beige full leather cab, which according to the thread is the worst offender. I don't see it.

I'm with you there, except I have a coupe w/ full leather. There is a very faint reflection, but considering I look a mile down the road, I never see it. Last year I put on 20000km, and never I notice an irritating or bothersome reflection.

Does anyone know if tinting the windows will decrease windshield glare/reflection?

Maybe a very light tint on just the front windshield will completely cut down the glare (I know it's illegal). Just a hypothetical question.

I have all my windows tinted to about 35%, front included... There is a reduction in glare but make sure that your tint installer uses a high quality tint. They even have polarized tint now.

I live in Minnesota no problem with my sand beige leather interior. Maybe if you live in a southern state it maybe different.

Default If you wear polorized shades, SB reflection is a Non issue

The top pic was taken with no filter, the bottom thru my polorized sunglasses. If you don't wear polorized shades - then yeah, there is a glare when its sunny.

Sand beige 997.2 now, Savannah Beige 996 previously.

Never even thought about glare!

Yes, it still happens in the coupe, just not as bad.

I test drove the 997 with the beige and decided then I would never own a beige interior. It was very distracting IMO and I don't want to have to wear sunglasses all the time...

I've got the beige/cashmere interior and no complaints here but again I wear polarized sunglasses...
