It just doesn't make sense to have two Porches in the middle of nowhere. I'll be keeping my Cayenne S, but the one in the Avatar here has to go. I know I'll be taking a bath on this since it's only 5 months since I bought it. But there ain't too many Cabs out there with the Tiptronic. It cost over a 100k and has 6000 miles on it. Has the phone and nav plus Bi Zeon head lamps. I may just put it on consignment with the local dealer.
Anyone have any opinions what it is worth?

It actually make more sense to have 2 Porsches when you're in the middle of nowhere. Your Porsches will provide you with enough entertainment even if there is no women around you!
Anyway, unfortunately I think you may lose about 20% or more of your purchase price as you are competing with dealers that are discounting their inventories, and selling a cab in winter is difficult.

Well I'm sorry your cab is departing,...but buying a B&B - that sounds exciting.
Good Luck with that.
Personally, I think you should think over selling the 997 for another 1-2 years.

I learnt an important lesson with my 996. I would have gotten the same money if I had kept the car for another year, had a lot of fun etc rather than sell it after 16 months of purchase. The way you have to reason is, I can loose $30K now or loose the same $30K in 12 months - only exception at least another 365 days to have an extra Porsche to smile about.

After checking all the dealer Internet prices, your all right. I don't really need to lose all that money. This will be the only 997 in Lincoln County and it's long way to the dealership. But it will still be under warranty so if all goes wrong they will tow it.
Lot of open twisty roads to enjoy. Not many people live around here.

Hang in there. Times may be a little tight but Porsches are the spice of life. You can probably eat only once a day,--and save a little there.
