Still at PLPROD. Does anyone have some new pictures of a black 997s with black wheels to help pass the time?

Damn, I wanted those wheels, but tried to add/modify order and found it was too late unless I wanted to be sent back to the end of the line again so to speak.

Well, at least I got the nice Carerra S lit sills Adds a nice touch.

Painted seat backs would have been nice, but oh well.

Boy, do I remember the wait...At least your getting into production and soon it will be going through paint, then one day checkpoint 8 and onto ONVESL.

Then you can start camping out at the dealer until it arrives...

While at the dealer, K-40 went in, Sirus satellite in PCM (Cayenne kit), paint protection film all done before I took her home. Detailing was done by a great staff which I dropped off Menzerna polish to use prior to the film being done.

Happy New Year and it will be here soon!!

Regards,
Deanski

Oh , That's so nice. Thank you Paul523 . I skipped deviatied stitching. It will have red seat belts and a fire extinguisher to match the red brakes. I plan to get floormats with red trim as well. I figure that's enough red for a black car. Also, I ordered a few pieces of black trim on the inside and out to tie it all together. It's going to be a special car!

Your car looks excellent Deanski, you could always get another set of wheels. I plan on purchasing an extra set of lobsters. Did your dealer have experience with Menzerna? I'm wondering whether or not I should have the dealer detail the car.

You may want to take it slow, Lori.

It's a slippery slope for sure.

Long time no talk Lori!
Glad you're well! I agree, that's likely enough red, and THANK YOU for not ordering red gauge faces - eeeeeyuck!
Thank goodness you're female and you tread the line between classy and gaudy just perfectly - more is NOT always 'better' - I think your configuration of black and red is just right
Make the interior piano black - ooooh would that look AMAZING - surprising Porsche doesn't offer that yet.

Lori, how are you finding out the status of your car? Is your dealer providing you that information? I'm supposed to have a January build also but haven't heard anything.

Sky, I'm not Lori but I can answer. Contact your dealer for status of your car. They can provide all info for you.

VIN in hand! It will be on the ship before you know it. Do you have all the little baby-shower gifts already for it? (Cover, etc...)

Way cool! It's listed on the dealers site. I've been so busy. I have a Porsche cap that was given to me for Christmas. I have yet to decide on detailing products.
