Default Anyone have a link to a jack pad? The...

thing that goes on the jack so as to not damage the under carriage of the car when jacking it up with a floor jack? I used to use a piece of wood for my audi, but since porsche seems to have a hole in the jacking location I was hoping for something that fit into the hole so no slippage would occur. Thanks, Bill

I think that you can buy it from Automotion/Performance Products....

http://www.automotion.com/productpag...name=Jack+Pads

Granted, this one works for 1998 to 2005 model years. Not sure if the 997 is different...

I got this jack pad from Boothe designs. Works great! They also sell it on Pelican.

Hi,

You can use a hockey puck. They are in most
sporting good stores.

I use the hockey puck too. Far cheaper than a jack pad.

Here's the link:

http://www.automotion.com/productpag...name=Jack+Pads

The lower one is for the 997s,--same as 996, 993.

I have one,--but will go pick up about 3-4 pucks, too!
