Do you have a 997, if you do ( I just got an email from Sven), the Remote Key function is included in the SmartTOP. I think that is why the smartTOP for the 997 is $499, while the smartTOP for the other models are only $299.

I ordered the smartTop 997 last week and installed it in about 30 minutes, going exceedingly slow and carefully. I could do it in 15 no problem next time around. It was neat to lift the carpet in the top storage area and see what the mechanism looks like underneath. I would never have done something like this to my baby without having heard how easy and risk free it was from those that have gone before. It really is that easy and the benefit is awesome! Audio cues for remote lock and unlock, remote top operation, all windows up and down operation and so much more! Porsche really should make this all part of the base cabrio functionality.
