Default New Here!

Hey guys/gals,

I'm new here, I just bought an '06 Carrera S Cabriolet amongst a bunch of other options. Now I'm looking to add some upgrades. I have my eye on the FabSpeed Cold-Air Intake and Muffler bypass. So I've stumbled across this Forum and it looks like I'll be around for awhile!

Cheers,

Brad

I'll vouch for the Fabspeed mufflers. Have really enjoyed them.

Welcome. Fairly new here too since I just had my 997S for 2 weeks. I am debating on the bypass mufflers myself. Anyone else with Feedback about being too loud and any resonance?
Check the V1 hardwire install too and mods4cars
Post some pics too

So the new plan of attack is the full Fabspeed kit and I just bought spacers, clear corners and short shifter. Anyways here's some pictures of it still in the dealership!

Fabspeed muffler bypass???... Don’t do it, loud as hell and will melt the rear apron when hot!

Go with the fabspeed can muffler instead.

Gorgeous car! Where did you get it? Make sure you check out the Canada forum where you'll find lots of Torontonians with all kinds of p-cars and suggestions. There is also a weekly get together on the west side of TO every Sat morning (rain, shine, snow or sleet!) where you'll meet lots of great people. Check out this link.

I noticed you purchased the car from Select Luxury in Mariette, Ga. which is where I got my '04 996. I'm curious, what are your impressions of them? How were they to deal with? Did they deal on the price?
