Ths goes RIGHT to the point of our previous thread about parenting and cars with too much power.

It's too tempting, and to the untrained child, it doesn't belong in their possesion.

I just drove one of those last week on road and track and I have to say that it is the biggest piece of crap i've driven since the 2001 Daewoo Lanos 3-dr hatch.

I'm even a Mustang guy! My first car was a 1993 5.0L notchback and this thing doesn't handle or go better...13 years later!!!!!

Inside blower whine is the dominant noise and next to that the rattling and crunching from the gearbox is very nice.

I didn't even think it felt that fast but worst of all it's an unstable, wobbly, cushy, ill-handling turd.

I do. My wife has a strange gleam in her eyes lately.

If you have a teenage in the house, you better lock up your key every night.

As the dumb *** teenager would say "totally awesome".
If I had ever ever done that to my father's car ( a stinken lincoln ) he would have hung me from the highest point in earth.

At least that teen does a good job at demo work.

Wow. I saw a Fifth Gear clip that described the handling as poor; however, they mentioned the torque was outstanding. Doesn't it weigh near 4000lbs?

I think it might even be OVER 4000lbs. there's torque but it's not like L98 Vette engine or anything.

the handling can best be described as a 500-hp couch - scary!

That same kid driving the mustang was later caught in this video launching fireworks:

I used to sneak out my dad's 944 after he'd go to bed. One night I had a girl in the car and ran it up to redline when a half dozen red lights came on in the dash (thx Porsche). I nearly soiled myself, drove very slowly back to her house, dropped her off, got back home and put it back where it belonged. Never told my dad. Next day, he went off to work and when he got home, he was in a loaner... Porsche found some problem in the lubrication system and repaired it under warranty. My dad never said a word.

Neither did I.
