Default Cab drivers, how low do you go?

I'm happily driving around today with the top down and it's about 45-48F outside. Seems perfectly comfortable with a hat and a ratty bit of old fleece. So the question is how low do you go before you DON'T put the top down?

45F, w/the windscreen up, seat heaters on, heat cranked and aimed in the footwell - no hat.

Thumbs up

My lowest so far was 52 because it hasn't gotten any lower really (and that was during my first week of ownership in March). As you said: heated seats, heat on, windows up; no hat, just a simple sweater. Even had a girl cuddled up in the passenger seat and she was okay with it. I could see myself doing upper 40s if the sun's shining. During night time, 52 is probably the lower limit. I can handle 62 with the windows down.

My highest was 112 with everything down, light clothes, wearing sunblocker, total driving time under 45 minutes.

My favorite temperatures are between 70 and 90.

Since I bought the car (7.5 months ago, 10,000+ miles), there've been only three days that I did not have my top down.

Drove a cabrio last night (SL550) with an airscarf - it was fun. It got to three degrees celsius. 37.4 degrees fahrenheit. It was chilly.

With the windscreen up you can go way down. Of course, it's impossible for me as it never gets that low here! Sounds like another ROAD TRIP!

If it is sunny and dry, I'll go down into the 30's. With heated seats and the heat on, driving in the 40's is an everyday thing.

I just picked mine up yesterday (pictures to come after I have a chance this weekend)....

It was in the mid-40s this morning on my way in to work, and I had the top down, windows down, no windscreen, no heated seats, and it wasn't too bad even driving down the highway at 70 mph.

My wife and I are planning a road trip at Thanksgiving all the way up to Ohio so I should be able to find out just how low I'm willing to go.

In 'winter' we do get to the 40's and in the am on the way to work it is 'cold'. Still with only a shirt, heated seats, heater blasting, windows up it is just a joy to drive with top down.
