Question Rear Wiper Removal

I want to remove the rear wiper from my '06 C4S, but do not know how to access the wiper motor. Looks like I need to remove the farthest rear shelf, but do not know how to do this. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I do not like the look of the rear wiper.

Thanks

Merlot cork.

Just kidding. The 993 board went thru this a while back. I remember that there are 'plugs' for the hole in the glass.

I think Eric "The Plug Guy" has such deal. Check out his site, perhaps it's there.

Bumping a VERY old thread. There is one option on my Turbo that I don't like, and that's the rear wiper. Spoke w. Eric at Bumper Plugs a year ago about it but at the time he did not have a solution (997 wiper is different than 996 and 993).

So, has anyone found a proper solution for getting rid of the wiper and plugging the hole in an aesthetically pleasing manner?

Thanks!

Just interested... What do you not like about it? Is it just the looks for you or is there another reason. While I do not use mine taht often, I do find it functional, especially in the winter as I do drive mine yaer around.
