Default I also need help on which exhaust system

Many of you have installed different brands of exhaust system. I know that this is an issue of personal taste. However, I do not want my wife complaining of the noise when I floor this animal.
I ordered a C4S, Nov. 06 build. I still have time to order the factory exhaust with the on-off button.
So what is your opinion?

Factory PSE
Fabspeed
Tubi
or just leave the factory stock mufflers, and do not order the optional. The dealer says that the car sound good with the stock.
Please give me you opinion. You guys are good!

I just ordered the fabspeed system. Alot of people seem to think it is a good exhaust. I liked the way it sounds on their website so I ordered it. It also saves about 28 lbs. The stock system has alot of resonance baffling material making it heavy. The stock system I think sounds ok just not exotic. I am used to the Z06 that I had, it had some burbling and popping to it. They say the Tubi system is awesome but I think it is about twice the money of the other aftermarket systems. Good luck I hope this helps.

If you want the ability to make it "quiet" when the wife is with you, but have it "loud" the rest of the time, go with PSE.

Guys, for my own "protection" with the wife, I think it's going to have to be PSE.
Thanks for the input!

Man your wives need to get together with my wife. She love the volume of the Fabspeed mufflers. Fabspeed and any other Aftermarkets like PSE I've heard are not that loud.

Went with the fabspeed. Wife doesn't mind it at all. She doesn't notice a difference when riding in the car unless we're going through an overpass or in a parking garage.

While both PSE and fabspeed sound great the fabspeed is much lighter and less expensive. With PSE I think you'd do like many on this forum and have it configued to be "on" all the time which means the "wife switch" isn't benificial.

OK, I stopped by Champion Motorsports today to check out the Tubi mufflers. I got to here the F77 car you all have seen in the magazines. I have Fabspeed and I noticed that the tubi at idle sounds stock compared to the deeper sound of the Fabspeed. The Tubi rev'd sound crisper and the Fabspeed sound deeper. the Tubi might be a little louder than Fab under acceleration...maybe.

I went with the full AWE system. It has a great sound and my wife has no complaints.

Mdrums - I just ordered a Fabspeed...thought about Tubi but put off by the cost. DO you have any regrets about not ordering the Tubi based on what you heard?

The factory lets you mute it as you like. It's handy when you don't want to be that obnoxious Porsche driver saying, 'hey, look at me!"

My wife prefers the AWE to the factory sound. Local club like it better too.

PSE ...sounds absolutely great ! ... also your wife will be soooo impressed that you ordered a "special exhaust" that would be "quieter" when you're taking her for a ride. Thats not spending more money ...thats being a very considerate husband IMO!

Hey Devon, you better be right. Because I just ordered the pse yesterday. It'll be ready for install in 2 weeks. No pse around here to "test" so i'm doing this based on everyone's comment. I love the way the ferrari f430 sounds.

I know pse is not the same. but i hope it sounds great in its own porsche way.
