Dear Friends:
Regarding the Multifunction "thicker steering wheel" for '07... This is NEW for '07.
If you want to obtain this option, you have to order "CPA" Thicker Leather Steering Wheel ($930.00) and "431" 3-Spoke Steering Wheel Multifunction Leather ($740.00).
I will post a pic when I receive my C4S in December.

raclaims, you have to insist with the salesman to look it up in the order entry computer and/or check it with the factory. This option came up last month when I placed the order. My sales guy called me after I placed my order to let me know that it was available.
If you try to do it int he Porsche configurator, it will not let you do it. It has to be done by the dealer. Not everything that is in the configurator is in the order guide which is where you can find every option availale for all models.
Congrats on your new TT!

Default Option CPA

Hi guys,

Picked my new C4S last Saturday. I ordered CPA with Multifunction steering wheel, was an extra £400 I believe, silly money. I was thinking it would be like XPA with MF wheel but it is actually padded. It is very nice though and definitely thicker than the normal MFSW. Now is it worth the extra, that's for you to judge
It is certainly nowhere near the BMW steering wheels but I really didn't like the standard MFSW.
Let me know if U need anymore pics
C

PS: I am afraid they screwed up the CPA option, it is on the wrong side of the car

Is it possible that the thicker MF wheel is only available for tips?

Looks nice. I'm still not loving the mini-cooper/vw look of the circular center on the sport wheel.

Ahhh, damn... I didn't even know that those cars were similar. Now I'm gonna have to change the wheel back!

Default Couple of more pics

Mario,
Few more shots, trying to give a better look at the thickness...
Also CPA doesn't require tiptronic, it is also available with the 6 spd manual

C, thanks for pics. The thicker MFSW looks awesome. I'm waiting for my C4S with tip as yours. Should be getting it by the end of November or early December. I'm going from an M3 to a 997S, and I'm really lookikng forward to the change.
Thanks again!
