Default Clutch spring noise.

When I depress and release the clutch I hear a “springy” noise. Do you guys know if this is an indication of wear? Or is it warranty work? Thanks.

Good question. The noise is on the outside of the car, not the pedal inside. It sounds like a squeeky spring.

If it is coming from outside the car, it has nothing to do with the pedals. The only possabilities would be a noisy slave, or a componant in the bellhousing.

I don't have the noise but I have felt a slight resistance in the pedal when releasing the clutch. No big deal but it has become noticable in the last 3 weeks.

Thanks guys. It's on its way in during the next week or so. Also the rear quarter light seals need replacing as water leaks on the insdie. We have a hose pipe ban so I'm just using a watering can.
