Do you think Porsche will still be #1 in initial quality like the last time? Anybody know how they did in the longer term #'s?

I got a $2 bill from other survey that I couldn't remember the name. Anyway, I worked on the survey but didn't finish it after 2 pages.

I am actually on a JD Powers automotive panel. I get surveys from them (via the internet, by the way) on a regular basis. It's amazing some of the things they do studies on. Just did a lengthy one on navigation units, then got a shorter version of the same survey in the mail regarding the Porsche Nav System specifically.

Based on my experience with my '05 Boxster and my '06 997, yes.

I didn't send mine in because it would have had 4 issues on it for initial build quality. Small one's but there nonetheless on my 06 987s

So...you didn't send it in because you're trying to protect Porsche's JD Power IQS rating?

I got a survey addressed to my address but with some really weird name on it like "Mystery Hernandez" or something like that, and it started out by saying congratulations for buying a new Boxster...

As a result, it all went downhill from there...

What's up with that? Tell it like it is, if you don't, it only hurts the consumer in the long run.

I can say emphatically that Porsche will not be number 1 again on JD Power's survey as they are no longer using JD Power. New program to roll out soon.
