Cowhorn: Do a search on 997s aero kit, 997 aero kit, aero kit. Dr shine has a nice black 997 with the aero kit.

I hope this helps.

Lower lip/chin has seen better days! I've hit curbs mostly pulling up into a space. The worst is steep driveways, now THAT scrapes the lip/chin often.

That's why I now have a GT3 lip. They are Matte black as opposed to primed and has to be shot with paint.

Scraped half a dozen times in three months of ownership. Worst was backing the C2S into my own driveway for the ClearBra installation.

Scapes not visibile looking at the front of the vehicle. Only noticeable if you rub your hand along the leading edge. Plastic lower lip is actually quite flexible.

As Porsche says in the Tequpiment flyer for the AeroKit, the loss of an inch or two of front clearance is well worth the performance gains and visual appeal.

Here are some more photos to add to the fine shots of Deanski's ride.

Feel free to PM if there are more questions on driveability issues, etc.

Yep, it's low alright! It takes a bit of getting used to. Since I have wacked the lip several times, it looks like I'll be investing in a few of the GT3 ones. I'll get an original lip for this Aerokit, have that one shot with paint and keep it in storage. The GT3 lips are now avalible and cheaper.

I do not like the stock C2S ride height in the rear as it looks somewhat jacked-up. May go with H&R springs to lower it to about GT3 level, but this will only increase scraping of that lip. Ah the price we pay for performance and looks!

If you like the look, order it from factory. If you do get it, take the original lip off and put the GT3 one on it. Also, Armorglove has protected this more than you can imagine. After removing the film after I wacked it, lip looked almost untouched. Problem is now that I left it off and no it's really nasty now. These mount on via clip and two screws, one on each wheel well corner and is very easy to take off.

Frino, I know what you're going through! Nice C2S! I was thinking of model delete or painted to color, but left it as is. Same for wheels, went to change from stock "S" wheels to painted black with silver lip, but order wnet locked and into production.

Paint protection film is a must for our black finishes! Saved my paint several times!

Regards,
Deanski

This car needs side and rear skirts of some type. I don't like how the front spoiler hangs lower than the rest of the car.

Meaker - VERY NICE! That is the first Lapis Blue 997 I have seen with the Aero Kit. What color is your interior? With any luck, I'll see you car on one rare trips into Charlotte.
