Default Fair Price?

Folks,

What is a fair price for a very clean 2005 997 (25,000 miles) with these options:

M6A - Black Floor Mats with Black Lettering
P15 - Power Seat Package
P74 - Bi-Xenon Headlights
342 - Heated Seats
405 - 19" Carrera Classic Wheels
425 - Rear Wiper
446 - Wheel Caps with Colored Crest
666 - PCM Phone Module (installed by the dealer after initial sale)
670 - PCM Navigation Module
680 - Bose High End Sound System
692 - Six Disc CD Changer
CPO - Porsche Certified Pre-Owned Warranty through January 2011

Is $66,500 before tax and license a decent price?

I'll admit I'm no expert, however it's certainly not far off. After you dicker the price down a bit, you'll probably be at the right spot.

I think the price is a bit high - high milage car, lightly optioned. You can do better.

I got mine yesterday from the dealer CPO '05 997 Carrera with 10,100miles on it. CPO till 2010. Final price was $65k plus taxes and tags (transfer). Pretty good price and supposedly Kelly Blue Book listed the car as selling for $74k (whether you believe that or not, I didn't). So I think you're definately in the balllpark.

Mine was:

2005 997 Coupe Artic Silver/Black interior
10,100 miles options:
M6A - Black Floor Mats with Black Lettering
P15 - Power Seat Package
P74 - Bi-Xenon Headlights
342 - Heated Seats
425 - Rear Wiper
446 - Wheel Caps with Colored Crest
670 - PCM Navigation Module
680 - Bose High End Sound System
CPO - Porsche Certified Pre-Owned Warranty through Aug 2010

Default I think it's high- I just purchased an 05 for the same price with 5k on it

The car was in new condition with:
M6A - Black Floor Mats with Black Lettering
P15 - Power Seat Package
P74 - Bi-Xenon Headlights
342 - Heated Seats
446 - Wheel Caps with Colored Crest
666 - PCM Phone Module (installed by the dealer after initial sale)
670 - PCM Navigation Module
680 - Bose High End Sound System
692 - Six Disc CD Changer
and sports chrono

I did pay 2k to have it shipped via covered transport to seattle. Good luck with your search.

Check this out.... Read the entire thread. If I hadn't got my car 8 weeks ago this would be the one:
