For those that store it all winter, do you worry about flat spotting the tires?
Isn't it bad for an engine to not run for 6 months?

I have been using the touch-free "laser" drive-in car washes that have been popping up all over. A quick towel dry and the car looks pretty good. It beats not driving it all winter.

Ditto. She goes under the covers and on trickle charge till around March unless there is a nice warm day in between during which I'll take the car out and run it a bit but otherwise that's what I bought the SUV for now and/or winter tires for the M3.

I am in NJ. I drive all winter, weather permitting. I wait for a warmish day, say above 45 and wash it using rubber gloves. If it goes 3 to 5 weeks without a wash, so what, no real harm done.

agreed with Neil.... if it is a really bad storm/salting, will try to wash in an auto wash within 2 weeks...

I use mine all year round. Best to do is go to the self-service car wash and use the lightest setting possible to first remove salt and debris. Then you can wash and rise as normal.
